Warriors:Into the Wild(Book One), Erin Hunter, Avon, 321 pgs.
1. What is the book about? (Remember don’t give away the ending)
This descriptive book is about a young housecat named Rusty who dreams of living in the wild, catching mice roaming on the forest ground. Then one day he leaps of his fence and stops in front of a cat from the wild! His name is Graystripe, and they become great friends. But then three cats from the clan(pack of cats) come at him alarmed. They saw him chasing the mouse the other day and offer him to join them, because of his fascinating techniques. Does he join?
2. What is your favorite part?
I like the beginning, because it started out with him in a dream, with his collar off and stalking a mouse in the shadows. But right when his claws unsheath, he wakes up in his cat bed.
3. What part of the book would you change?
I would change the dream just a bit, because of the fact Rusty knew wild cats were living out there, he could be catching quite enough prey until he led himself up to the cats, and then, they offered him the life in their clan, so it could actually happen.
4. Will you recommend this book to a friend?
I would recommend this to a friend, because most of my friends love animals and adventures. I bet they would find it a great book. (I recommend the book also to age 10 and up.)
5. How many stars would you give this book?
Five Stars, full total!
