Baby

Baby, Patricia MacLachlan, Bantam Doubleday,132 p

1. What is the book about? (Remember don’t give away the ending)
This book is about a family who ends up taking care of a baby left by her mother. They need to learn how to get along after the death of their own baby boy. The family tries as hard as they can.

2. What is your favorite part?
My favorite part is when the family learns how to get along and joy spreads out through the whole family. It makes the story very special... It’s sort of like a quest they need to solve.

3. What part of the book would you change?
The part of the book I would change is the beginning. It doesn’t seem very interesting especially the introduction to the family. I think it needs more excitement.

4. Will you recommend this book to a friend?
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. It seemed very difficult through the hard times they had to pass. I think a lot of people should read it.

5. How many stars would you give this book?
I would give this book 5 stars even if there are some parts that are dull or boring, this book is really fantastic. If you think about it, it’s like you’re in the book.

  1. I think the family already falls in love with the baby except for the dad has to take a while have a close attachment to the little baby Sophie.
