Heat

Heat, Lupica, Mike, Puffin books, 220 pages

1. What is the book about? (Remember, don’t give away the ending)
The book is about a kid named Michael who is from Havana, Cuba and has had his dad and mom has die, so he lives with his brother and one of his father’s friends. He loves baseball more than anything and his dad wanted him to win the Little League World Series when he was twelve. There is just one problem, Michael is very good, just a bit too good. His team’s rival coach knows that Michael is twelve, but he wants the other team’s coaches to think that Michael is thirteen or maybe even fourteen. Michael needs his birth certificate to prove that he is twelve, but it is stuck in Cuba. Will Michael get his birth certificate in time for the Series.
2. What is your favorite part?
My favorite part is the ending, so I should not tell you that part.
3. What part of the book would you change?
If I were to change some thing in this book it would probably be the part where Michael says to the “Official person”, “I was running after my girlfriend,” to “I was running after(some sort of friend)”
4. Will you recommend this book to a friend?
Yes, I would recommend it to anyone ages eight and up. It is a sort of challenging book but if you love baseball you'll make it through.

Warriors: Into the Wild

Warriors into the Wild, Erin Hunter,Avon,372 pages

1. What is the book about? (Remember don’t give away the ending) The book is about a cat that is a kitty pet(that means a house cat) who becomes a warrior. He is the strongest in the clan and his name is Rusty. Rusty is the main character in every book. Rusty’s name changes in every book because he accomplishes his goals.

2. What is your favorite part?
I like the part when Rusty meets Bluestar because I think it was the most interesting part. Rusty was a housecat and he became wild without the house people knowing.

3. What part of the book would you change?
I would change the part when Rusty starts fighting with Yellowfang and I would just say Firepaw greets Yellowfang because I don’t think that the clan cats should fight the same cats in the same clan.

4. Will you recommend this book to a friend?
Maggie, She does not know what she’s missing out on.

5. How many stars would you give this book? 5 stars.

Geronimo Stilton: Cat and Mouse in a Haunted House, Scholastic, 111 pgs.

1. What is the book about? (Remember don’t give away the ending
This book is about a mouse and his great adventures. He has many books about different parts of his life. This book is about him going to his aunt’s house and his car breaks down. He sees a castle and it has ghost cats in it. He sees a couple of ghost care and is scared out of his fur. What is really going on?

2. What is your favorite part?
Right in the beginning when he find the castle because I like how he describes it. When the lightning hits the ground and lites up the forest, then the castle appears.

When he calls his sister Thea. He gets all crazy and panicky about what he will do for about 2 pages straight. It's kind of boring.

4. Will you recommend this book to a friend?
Yes, because if you like books that have a lot of adventure and excitement then this is the book for you.

5. How many stars would you give this book?
I would give this book five stars.

And Nobody Got Hurt

And Nobody Got Hurt 2, Len Berman, Kent Gamble ,134 pages.

1. What is the book about? (Remember don’t give away the ending) The weirdest wackiest sport stories in history! Most or all the stories are funny. It is not about one story it is about little short funny sport stories.

2. What is your favorite part? All the stories because they were all very funny. But if I had to narrow in down to one, I would pick the one when they didn't want a guy to retire and the guy liked pizza so they said he could eat as much pizza as he wants.

3. What part of the book would you change? I would change the parts where they aren't exciting and dumb. For example, the parts that did not make sense like when the guy throws his Olympic medal into the lake but they never tell you why.

4. Will you recommend this book to a friend? Yes, I would but only to one who likes weird sports stuff.

5. How many stars would you give this book? 5
